AniDraw is an app for drawing your own gif. It's easy to use and can create everything from simple stickfigure animations to advanced gifs with set backgrounds and customized colors.
Using this app is a quick way to animate and express an event, feeling or idea. By default the app shows the outline of the previous frame so you know where to draw.
The preview window shows how the gif will look without you having to generate a new gif file all the time while working.
The app comes with a preset color palette but you can use the color wheel to customize each brush and create your own palette. Lower the opacity for a watercolor feeling.
Create a background for all your frames to help set the stage for your animation.
Use foreground on each individual frame as either a tool to see quick sketches before creating the final gif or keep them for a different kind of stylistic choice.
Toggle different settings to create the gif you want. For instance you can revert the gif so it plays backward when it reaches the end to eliminate a gap or make a sequence complete. For example it works perfectly for a blinking eye.
After the gif is created a share dialog is automatically opened so you can share with your friends. Of course this can be turned off in the settings.
The app features the ability to insert extra, copy or remove frames as needed.
You can change how fast the gif is playing. You can display everything from 2 to 25 frames per second.
Your progress will be saved automatically but you can save the entire project you're working on if you want to draw something else in between.
