The Evalan ARMOR system consists of a heart rate monitor, a sensor node and an android application.
The ARMOR sensor node is a battery powered wearable device that is wireless connected to any generic heart rate monitor that supports BLE. It collects the heart rate data, performs data processing and makes the data available for the Evalan ARMOR application.
The Evalan ARMOR application is installed on a compatible Android device as a part of the ARMOR heat monitor. The application collects the data from nearby registered Evalan ARMOR sensor nodes. This data is fed to a licensed algorithm within the application to estimate body core temperature and physical strain index (PSI). The application then shows the estimated core temperature, heart rate data and PSI. The user can select PSI level at which alarms can be generated.
