Elemica’s ePOD app enables drivers to provide real-time information for shipments in the Elemica network. Drivers can see their assigned shipments, enter milestones such as arrivals and departures, and acquire consignee signatures and feedback. When there is more information to share about a shipment, for example when a disruption occurs, the driver can update ETAs, log discrepancies and reasons and attach images. Shippers receive all of this information instantly, allowing them to provide better delivery updates to their customers. The Consignee Feedback feature collects a rating and comments from the signature party, providing shippers with valuable information that has never before been available.
