Payback - Your Personal App for Public Transportation Refunds.
We have spent approximately 1.5 years developing and legally ensuring the quality of a digital application model that will change the way the world handles complaints/refunds from both public transportation and insurance claims. We are launching PAYBACK in the App Store and Google Play, an app that immediately sends claims for compensation and refunds in accordance with the responsible company's approved guidelines. By thoroughly mapping companies' terms & conditions and the legal guidelines they have set for refunds, we have constructed an app that ensures high-quality claims with each click until they are sent directly to the responsible company.
In addition, there is an AI-generated search engine for your insurances (travel, home, contents, boat, etc.). The app constructs a completed damage report with pre-stored options based on the insurance companies' terms and sends it directly. Everything is based on what you are entitled to, according to the terms of your travel insurance, for example. Insurance documents are downloaded via BankID and stored in the app for immediate use. PAYBACK guides you step-by-step safely and securely through your travel insurance and sends the damage report immediately to your insurance company.
Public Transportation & Communication:
In Norway alone, with 5.6 million inhabitants, there are nearly 200,000 commuters who use public transport daily (Statistics Norway - SSB). There are frequent delays, cancellations, or other disruptions that repeatedly place consumers in frustrating situations. This is unlikely to decrease due to ongoing work and new systems integrating with older infrastructure and other future developments.
The challenge with delays and cancellations in Norway and the rest of Europe, particularly concerning trains and buses, is an outdated and frustrating claims process. Filing a complaint during a delay—whether you're late for work, meetings, or other appointments—rarely or never happens. People simply don't have the time.
The nightmare begins when one starts navigating companies' websites to find the correct options and information, which is often time-consuming, complicated, and not user-friendly. A sense of uncertainty quickly arises about what one is entitled to and which guidelines are correct, but the complaint is potentially sent regardless. When companies request additional information for claims, the process becomes so cumbersome that consumers often give up altogether.
Travel Insurance/Insurance in General:
Few, if any, have a detailed overview or understanding of what their insurance actually covers—or, more importantly, what they are entitled to. After signing an insurance agreement, you typically receive a complete insurance document with dozens of pages detailing what you "might" be entitled to, but only if certain conditions are met. A jungle of options and explanations makes the process frustrating and time-consuming.
After submitting a claim, insurance companies often respond with additional questions and requests for more documentation.
Why not use an app that ensures quality according to the insurance company's own definitions and guidelines? This way, all attachments and information that the insurance company considers satisfactory for granting a settlement are included in the damage report.
Our AI-generated search engine constructs the claim report based on the insurance company's requirements for settlement and according to your insurance terms.
