SafeNJ makes it easy for New Jersey schools to give support offerings to students, families, and staff in one easy to access virtual hub. The three main access methods are:
• RESOURCES - customized information and help at your community, local, state, and national levels
• 2NDFLOOR - reach out to trained crisis counselors via text or call
• ASK FOR HELP - an anonymous request service for your school or community. It includes a two-way Messenger to continue a conversation linked to the original request.
With this free mobile SafeNJ app, people have instant access to information and counselors when needed. Asking for help for themselves or others is just a tap away. The app is available to people of all ages in NJ schools signing up for the program, and is committed to follow the Google Play Families policy.
Administrators in an organization use a smart and easy web-based admin platform where they can review inquiries, communicate securely via two-way messaging, and manage resources supplied through the app. They can also send broadcast messages to app users in the organization.
The SafeNJ app and central platform support private, secure, and anonymous access, and help create safe, smart places for people to live, work, and learn.
