More About Smart Compass

Use your phone's sensors to help out on wilderness hikes or survival situations. The compass is designed for offline use!

-Navigation
The compass can be used to determine north direction, and in combination with the GPS Smart Compass can be used to navigate to predefined locations. Predefined locations, known as markers, can be created at a location with the current GPS position, OR at any point you can use compass coordinates to return.

-Weather
A barometer can be used to determine if the weather is about to change and if a storm is about to strike. Barometric pressure history (for the last 48 hours) is displayed as a graph in the Smart Compass weather menu. If the pressure drops suddenly, a storm notification is sent. Please note that this compass feature is only available for phones with a barometer!

-Astronomy
Another useful tool of this compass is to determine the time of sunrise and sunset. View sunrise/moonset times and see the current moon phase at your exact location.
