Treegenie digital ecosystem brings together all stakeholders of agroforestry based systems into a community to benefit from each other. Tree growers, QPMs, Tree nurseries, Wood based industries, Traders and research institutions to share/communicate scientific and market information. This Integration of multiple stakeholders on a common virtual platform aims to bring about a positive attitude towards tree farming among all stakeholders.
Objectives of this software platform are:
- To bring various stakeholders in the ecosystem onto a simple and single platform
- To gather, organize, facilitate seamless flow of information between stakeholders
- To communicate supplier, location and availability of improved clones/seedlings to growers
- To communicate various agro forestry govt schemes available to suppliers, growers
- To enable tree breeders to provide precise cultivation protocols for growers
- To create and “Ask Expert” query system to growers to interact with experts
- To create an intuitive sharing system for the media generated from this and related projects for the benefit of growers.
