More About Virtual Taximeter
Virtual taximeter allows You to measure distance and time during a trip travelled by any type of car. Distance is calculated using GPS location.
It may be used to meter the distance and calculate fare based on travel time and distance.
In Premium Mode the app estimates car travel, and creates a summary that may be used as an attachement to the invoice or bill issued for the service.
The app may work in three modes:
- metered trips with distance and waiting time (the app will measure distance and time spent in a car from the begin of the trip to the finish, then the final price is show at the end of the trip, payment for time spent in a car will be applied only when the car stays in a traffic jam)
- metered trips with distance and total time ( the distance travelled and all time spent in a car are used to calculate final price for the trip)
- estimated fares (Premium mode required) for the trip Google maps with traffic calculated at the beginning of the trip
(or system will estimate suggested trip and will calculate price based on the tariffs set in the app).
The app allows You to select payment method that the customer uses after the trip. We support cash and credit card. If You want to be able to accept credit card transactions contact local bank so they will issue credit card reader for You that will comply with the local law.

Our app is totally flexible and may adopt to Your needs.
Use metered mode if Your customer wants to pay for travelled distance.
If he wants to know the price upfront, and You want to be safe to calculate all traffic and road blocks use Fixed price mode available in Premium mode to get the most accurate price based on Your tariffs.
You may use the app in various scenarios that include:
- taxi passenger
- taxi driver
- coach bus driver
- transport car
- construction vehicle
- boat
- car rent
- helicopter :)
Some countries require taxi drivers to use hardware taximeter.
Take under consideration to obey local law and use the app in the areas that You are allowed to in Your country.
