More About Vision to Vision

The main function of the app is to provide you an easy way to test your eyes at home. After reading the instructions- hold your phone at an approx distance of 40cm and begin reading the letters which come on your screen. Please be clear while reading the letters and ensure that there are no background noises. As we move forward, the size of the letters will keep on decreasing in order to test your visual acuity. The app is used to test both the right and left eye. At the end, there will be a result page through which you can check the visual acuity for both your eyes along with the estimated power.

Instructions include-
1. Stay attentive for the next minute and find a quiet place.
2. Keep your phone at a distance of 40 cm.
3. A set of letters will appear on your screen. Click the mic button to read them aloud.
4. After reading, a dialog box will appear. Confirm with yes or reject with no.
5. Please be clear while reading the letters.
6. If correct, letters turn green; otherwise, they turn red.
7. Letter size decreases as we progress.

Note: This test is designed to provide you with an estimate of your eye condition. For more accurate results, please consult with a doctor.

This is a part of the project Vision to Vision which is a heartfelt charitable campaign committed to enhancing the vision of underprivileged children across India. Our mission unfolds in two vital stages: free eye examinations conducted by dedicated, volunteer optometrists, followed by the provision of spectacles(including 3d printed) to those in need. Vision to Vision has conducted around 28 camps in different schools testing around 10,000 children and providing spectacles to more than 1000 children.
